We use a Room Parents system to help organise school events, communicate important information and updates, share photographs, and welcome new families to Winpenny. Our Room Parents created ofrendas with pre-Hispanic themes for Day of the Dead. Each year, they also organise games, pumpkin decorating, and a scavenger hunt for children to celebrate Halloween. At Christmas, Room Parents perform a traditional Mexican pastorela for all of the children to enjoy.
